Brandon throws a party at his parents' old cabin in the woods with his friends, including his old high school friend Mark, Mark's wife Susan, and Tracy a co-worker, whom he barely knows. They stop at a redneck bar and invite a girl, Denise, who's fighting with a guy, George, to go with them. At the "cabin", they start smoking pot and telling ghost stories. Denise tells a story about her horror movie idea of a child-killing clown, who's beaten to death but the body is never found. Brandon goes off with Tracy, Mark goes off with Susan, and Denise peeps at them. A stranger is seen watching them just through his eyes. A note's found in the refrigerator which reads "You will regret this". Susan's missing in the morning and they go searching for her. Everyone suspects everyone. Doll parts are found everywhere.
